COVID-19 Policies, Procedures, and Protocols

Last Updated on

To all of our golfing guests:

Welcome to the Cochrane Golf Club (CGC) COVID-19 information page, identifying our policies, procedures and protocols (PPP) set forward by the golf course in coordination with our provincial health authorities. All PPP’s have been designed to keep all of our staff and guests safe and healthy, as well as contributing to the greater good of limiting the spread of the Corona virus. This pandemic is a ghost. Always assume you or someone is a carrier and practice “don’t touch that” principles. Wash or sanitize your hands frequently and avoid touching your face.

Help us keep golf courses open by understanding and adhering to the following. Please keep in mind that the situation is fluid, and the PPP’s will be adjusted or updated as often as necessary. Our facility will be closely monitored.

Let’s start from the beginning for your day of golf and a list of expectations:

Lay of the land

  • If you are sick or showing COVID-19 symptoms… Stay home! You will not be permitted to play
  • Warm up nets and mini-golf are opening on Friday, June 19th with protocols
  • Putting green will be open, limited to two golfers on the green at any given time
  • There is no available food and beverage service at the golf course at this time. Bring what you need for your round, water or other non-alcoholic beverages, lunch, snacks, etc.
  • Maximum one guest allowed in the pro shop at any given time
  • We encourage one rider per cart unless both riders live in the same household or are cohorts. Masks are available in the pro shop if you wish to wear one. Social distancing must be respected when accessing your equipment.

Let’s do our part

Common sense prevails during this unprecedented time.

Cochrane Golf Club thanks you in advance for your attention and cooperation to all of the listed PPP’s. Help keep the golf courses open and everyone healthy and safe. From the bottom of our hearts…. Thank You
